Crain’s Cleveland Business: Stark Enterprises Acquires 32 East
Stark Enterprises of Cleveland announced that it has acquired a community shopping center in Cincinnati for $29 million.
The property is 32 East, an open-air shopping center with 192,000 square feet of retail space.
The center is 100% leased and includes Burlington, Home Goods, Michaels and Stein Mart on its tenant roster. The center is near Eastgate Mall and the I-275 and state Route 32 interchange.
Ezra Stark, chief operating officer of the family-owned real estate company, said the property fits the company’s plan to buy high-quality assets in growing markets. Acquisitions have helped boost the company’s size to 8 million square feet, and its portfolio has a value of $2 billion, the company said.
