PEBB Enterprises and Tortoise Properties execute lease with National Dentex Labs at Jupiter Innovation Center
Prominent dental lab facility to relocate headquarters from Palm Beach Gardens to office campus in Jupiter
JUPITER, FL – PEBB Enterprises, a full-service private real estate investment company, and Tortoise Properties, a privately held real estate investment and development group based in Palm Beach County, announce the successful lease and newly renovated buildout of 40,000 square feet of office space to National Dentex Labs (NDX) at Jupiter Innovation Center in Jupiter, Florida.
Located at 1701 Military Trail, Jupiter Innovation Center is the town’s largest for-lease office building with 186,238 square feet situated on 16 acres. The lease with NDX brings the property to 98% occupied, making the remaining available space at Jupiter Innovation Center especially desirable.
“Tortoise Properties and we are excited to welcome NDX as the newest tenant to our Jupiter Innovation Center campus,” said PEBB Enterprises President and CEO Ian Weiner. “We expect to soon fully lease the balance of very limited space.”
The new NDX headquarters supports more than 100 employees on-site, including certified dental technicians, and also serves as the central hub that backs NDX’s network of more than 60 full-service dental labs across the United States. The on-site lab offers superior dental prosthetics, including custom-made crowns, bridges and implant restorations. NDX designers utilize 3Shape software and 5-Axis milling machines to ensure faster, more efficient and accurate results – with advanced printers, including Carbon 3D, to provide the highest quality products and a precise fit.
In addition, the operatory and NDX Education Center will host special continuing education events for dental professionals with guest lectures by renowned leaders in the dental industry and unique interactive experiences.
“Our new Jupiter headquarters is a showcase facility that offers a collaborative and innovative environment for our employees and the dentists we serve,” said Tom Daulton, chief executive officer of NDX. “Our robust education center will attract dentists around the country to further their training in the latest and most innovative dental practices.”
Nationwide, NDX employs nearly 4,000 dental professionals dedicated to serving tens of thousands of dentists, from the independent dentist to the large DSOs.
“NDX is a significant addition to the dynamic roster of tenants at this property,” said Tortoise Properties CEO Jake Geleerd. “Jupiter Innovation Center is proving to be a case study for our real estate investment strategy of teaming up with top local partners with deep roots in the community such as PEBB Enterprises to acquire and stabilize trophy assets.”
Verdex Construction conducted the buildout of the dental lab, including renovations to the office space, break room, new gym and bathroom facilities. Kravit Architectural Associates designed the space. NDX moved into the new office space this month.
Jeff Kelly of CBRE represented the landlords in the NDX lease. Derek Baker of Colliers International South Florida represented the tenant.
The single-story campus is just one mile south of the 327-bed Jupiter Medical Center, which is home to the new ground up Anderson Family Center Institute, a 55,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art cancer center. Jupiter Innovation Center has a mix of medical, office and research and development tenants.
